Album Release Date Moved to August 21st
Hello one and all. I've got another album release date change to throw at you for A CERTAIN FORM, but hopefully you'll understand the adjustment after reading the explanations listed below. The story's a little different this time.
a) Albums are made in many different ways. I've let this one "make itself" and while I've worked as hard as I can all this time; the record is still probably about a month from being done completely, top-to-bottom......A good way to describe part of this experience is to compare it with someone driving in or running a race across the country. There are many, many checkpoint flags that must be obtained, you're making the best decisions possible, and there is very little time to rest and reflect; you're constantly in motion to achieve the goal.....If things work; they work--if they don't; they don't and that means more work must be done......(So, if the album will be done in June, why is it being released in August?) That leads to my next point...
b) May 22nd worked out initially-I couldn't deliver on that, June and July didn't work out; August 21st works, so there's that. :)
If you've held on through all of the delays/cancellations; I'm very thankful to you. It's really not in my nature to say something and then not follow through on my word. I'm pleased with the results I'm getting on the album though.
